Thanks for the welcome guys! Mr. Wild Thing has been one heck of a gentleman throughout the process and so far the purchase has been fun and pretty much stress free. The only stress has come from the wife after reading some of KC's emails; I think this was probably her favorite one (she got so wound up she almost gave me an anxiety attack)-
"....... Might be best to leave the wife home till you get the hang of it or at least let her know what to expect during this learning curve, Never in the cabin during this curve, bolsters in stand up position only and hands on the grab handles tell her. It's OK if she pisses in her pants they will wash out......"

We're pretty excited to be moving up to the Velocity after a lot of good years with the little Powerquest. Spent a few hours this evening at West Marine trying to work out important details like would black or yellow fenders be more appropriate and making checklists of items to transfer, getting insurance changed over, and everything else getting ready for the new baby to arrive tomorrow. If the weather cooperates she should arrive tomorrow- whoohooo!
KC and Velocity family thanks again for the warm welcome and I thank you in advance for helping with all of my questions. KC you better take care of that lovely lady as the initial investment may be the same but the trade in cost is guaranteed to be much higher

Be sure you bring the wife something to eat that she doesn't have to cook. You know there ain't no stove in the cabin.
email from Rich>>Really looking forward to getting the Velocity up here and making the first shakedown cruise, heck even the wife is getting excited and looking forward to it. That says a lot since it has only been a few hours since I got the "what no air conditioning and cooking facilities?" I might have made a mistake with my initial response of why would you start cooking just because we are getting a new boat!
