Thank you for the pictures, very nice set-up. Who built the back bolster for you? I think I am going to go that route on mine.

Velocity built the bolsters. The frames are made of some high strength lightweight composite material. I had them build half bolsters in the rear to give people at least some lateral support vs a flat rear. Its worked out great so far.

Sorry I missed the last post. Yep, that was us coming through Gov't cut! We had a fun ride down from TNT and Haulover. Took Eddie and Cesar Guardado out for the day...which was really cool as it was the first time they'd seen the boat after it left their shop from paint and now it's a living breathing thrill ride

Sucked some seaweed into the starboard engine however when I fired her back up after lunch at Bayside. We don't have sea strainers so that was a pain in the a** to say the least. I took apart the water pump and hoses and got enough out to keep temps down and run back most of the way, but in the last no wake zone going to TNT the temp started rising again so I just shut it down. Needless to say some sea strainers are on my must do list!

Regardless, it was a blast running around Miami and we definitely plan on coming back soon as the day was cut short by seaweed and the water is just awesome over there.

After the seaweed episode, can anyone tell me what the best way to flush the system and get out any small seaweed particles is? Is there a way to flush with water in reverse so that any seaweed will be forced back out the way it came?

You can try and remove the hose at the T-stat housing and water pump out, then at the water pump in and back flush that way. You need a hose with good preasure. Some times it can help to kink the hose and then let it go again for that initial high preasure surge. If that does not work you have to kind of start pulling crap apart. Check your impeller and housing as it may be smoked as well, only takes a few seconds to ruin them if there is no water.
