Bob is doing well, last I heard boat is running good! As mentioned earlier in the thread, he had a house project, and then a couple other 22' velocity projects.
I'd really like to know how fast she goes and how does it handle at speed. I'm looking to move up to a 39 and would like to go at least 120 so I need to know how they handle at those speeds.
For that kind of speed and requisite horsepower, you'll need Speed Masters or at least NXT drives. According to Steve Stepp, the 39' HP700/NXT, staggered engine boat handled very well at 115 MPH. I haven't heard of a faster 39.

Bob has his boat up for sale on Facebook Marketplace. Everything except those beast engines. Looks like a great setup/buy for someone that may have their own motors.
I don't do Facebook, can you copy the info here?
Sorry having problems linking. Appears to be complete minus motors. Some of the listed equipment includes 1550 dry sump Huber trannies, rebuilt and blueprinted #5 drives, two different style engine hatches, disc braked 15,000 lb trailer, heads up display, upgraded gages, new flooring and much more. Boat looks really clean from pictures. He has it advertised for $44.9k

Just go on Facebook market place and put in MD area then look up Velocity Boat for sale under classified. Lots of Red that’s for sure.
