Jim, This is a 30' VELOCITY, it's not mine, it's Notda1s old boat. I think it was a 85. It was a BAD ASS VELOCITY. Way over 100 mph any day and handled like it was on rails. Bob

I was the second owner on my old 30' , enjoyed her from 92-03 . It was an 85 built with PFM 750 Turbo motors and #3 drives . The boat was sent to Lake-X to get dialed in when it was new . Records there show it running 104 mph for them , with a reported engine problem of some kind . Turbo's were a pain back then , so had new motors built by MDG . I picked up some 572's and went with superchargers per Dave's recomendation , instead of the turbo's again . Engines dynoed at 730 hp . The new motors increased throttle response and top end dramatically . Re-did the props with more pitch and proceeded terrorize the Chesapeake bay area . Cruised most of the time at 90mph or above conditions permitting , top end around 110mph . That was fast for back then . Boat held up great , never had to do any work on the hull at all . Sold her without motors after I bought the 41 . Very fun boat !!!!!!!
