Default 28 velocity question

Is the 28 a different hull than the 26? or is the 28 measured including the swim platform? I have seen boats for sale listed as 26/28. If they are different does anyone know if there is a difference between the cockpit area especially the room from the rearseat to the back of the front bolsters. Have looked at a 26 and thinking about making a 5 hr drive one way to see a 28. thanks

in 1997 the 26 was called a 26 in 1998 it became the 280 but most people now call the 26 a 280 as i do, mine is a 1996 26 less the swim platform which is a 280 now with the platform. have you got any pic of the cabin if so the 260/280 has a closet as you enter the cabin on the left side the 240/260 does not .

I have a 1998 26' titled 260 although the 280 today. The closet is the differance. Get a bank to understand it though. Lol.
