Default New 26'/280 project

I'm new here! I recently picked up a 94 Thoroughbred/velocity 26'/280 project. It needs a good bit of fiberglass work from a bad patch job the that led to a wet core! So im fixing the fiberglass and replacing the wet core. Also I'm installing a good running '95 carb 454 and bravo drive from of my other boat(which turned out after a year to not have a title. very long story!!) I figured this would be a good place to post progress and ask alot of questions.

So here is some pics of her (dont mind the trailer is needs adjusted to fit the boat!)

and my old boat which is a 95 centra(by sea-pro) 230 lazer

more pics of the progress once the women comes back from the beach with the camera!

I will have one for sale over the winter.... I am pulling mine of my 260. It isn't in perfect shape, could use a few small areas fixed but I will be selling very cheap. I am replacing my fiberglass one with a tubular aluminum one.....

here is a pic.

Congrats on your boat acquisition. Velocitys are fast and fun. I sure do like mine. Looking forward to following your progress

The 280s and 260s do use the same platform. However you may want to do some research (call to Velocity should do it) to verify the 2003 platform will mount up to the 94

The platform will fit. Got my 91 26 from Velocity last Oct. and Kenny had a new one made for me using the last mold.

Great looking boat.
