do you have to cut the floor to get the tank out if its leaking

Yep. Locate the stringers in the engine well and then in the cabin. connect them with a sharpy line set the circular saw at 1" deep and cut. Make sure you are ove the stringer otherwise you won't have anything to remount the floor to.
