Speed with labbed bravo from velocity
I ran my 1996 220 velocity last night for the first time with my new labbed 26 bravo from velocity. The prop worked fabulous on the boat. I run a stock 454/330hp. I was spinning a 26 pitch 3 blade spinelli at 5000 rpm which was 69 mph on radar. I turned the labbed 26 pitch bravo at 4800 rpm , which recorded 70.7mph on the radar, with a full tank of gas. I noticed the biggest difference in my hole shot and the boat seemed to ride better overall. I am definately happy with a stock velocity that is running 70 mph on radar. I will be putting a new motor in after this summer at around 500-550 hp. I can't wait to see what it does then!!

Mike;
I heard your boats been running pretty sweet. I'm going to bring up my 28 Lab bravo for Craig to try to make him a believer too. I think my 25 Mirage might work pretty good on your boat also...who knows we'll have to try it. Have a good one and be safe.

I have been using my new bravo also I agree world of difference better hole shot less bow rise no slippage in turns or over waves. Have not tested top speed yet this year. Have to wait for the fuel tank to go down a little. Last year I got 67 out of the boat with hydro prop, with a 1/4tank of fuel. Also when I went for a ride the other night my father in law brought along his little gps(e-trax) thing. Velocitys speedo was dead on. 40mph cruise speed, showing on the speedo and same thing on the gps.
