i can name 10 velocity owners that have gone that far to get their boat , i went 8 hrs my brother was about 12 , a friend was 15 . Buying a velocity is not like buying a chevy or a ford they are not on every corner . You find what you want you just need to suck it up and go get it .

You might try Hutchinsons Boat Works in Alexandria Bay New York. Believe they recently took one in trade on a new Velocity on order. Their number is 315-482-9931, ask for Mark. Have not seen the boat recently, but is a one owner fresh water local to the area boat.

A few miles down the road from me is a 1998 260 with the 454 Mag. Very clean boat with trailer. 400 hours and well taken care of. He is down to $19k now. Probably get it for $18 or so..... I looked at it before I found the 2000. It is the purple and green graphics. I am in VA.
