Here is a link to my new cockpit interior thread. http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/v...rior-done.html. If you scroll down to some of the pics without front seat you will see where I mounted kicker 6.5s. I also have a 12" kicker L7 in a custom enclosure mounted under the v-birth bed, behind the porta-potty. The sub faces toward the front of the boat, and I made a small cut out towards the front to vent the air under the bed.

I have a set of DC Gold 6x9s mounted in the transom above the rub rail, http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/d...s-part-ii.html

ia m seeing that the 7.7's will not fit ont he front as they do on a a 290. I'll have to go under the back seat, sides of the rear seat, and get some smaller speakers for the fronts now. Now I have an excsue to get more speakers! Winning! Winng! Lol!

My initial idea was to put a sub forward of the portapotty as well. I have a solid enclosure MTX 7000 series 12-inch with an MYX Thunderbolt amp. Maybe I can run those under there witht he 10-inch bazooka under the back seat. Oh well, we will see how it pans out I guess.

Anything will be better then the Seaworthy system currently installed. Doh!

It is tight behind the port-a-potty. I had to make a custom fiberglass box that follows the shape of the floor in order to make a box with the right air space for the sub I am using........

You might want to consider selling the 2 7.7s that you plan to mount under the back seat and get some 6.5's for up front. The placement of the speakers under the rear seat is wasted power. They really can only be heard if your laying on the floor or in the cabin..... I got rid of the holes in my bench when I had the upolstry redone.

I can fit both sets of 7.7's mid-cockpit directly behind the front seats and on the sides of the back seat. Think that would be sufficient, or too close together? The placement of the spearker if put in front would be awkward. The drivers would be under the helm to the side of where my legs would go, and the passenger side would either be in that same place, or directly against whoever will be riding up there. Both sets installed on the panel between the back and front seats may be the only way to go.
