Default Need some input

I'm startin to get some ideas for a 41'. I want to have something no one else has and with this i think it would do the trick. I have attached a link for you guys to take a look at. I was wondering how a 41' would look with two or three of these on the back? It would give a lot more room it cockpit with the same power as some 525 I.O.'s and with three should see close to triple digits.

All Opinions Welcome.

Thanks

TF

Would be cool, but have you seen the sticker price for one of those 557s? Ouch!

Have the 557's made it onto a production boat yet or just the demos? What is the sticker price?

I think I read somewhere they were in the range of $75k per motor........ Not 100% sure, but that is the number that is stuck in my head...

Seven Marine has orders for over 20 motors as of may 1. They are $69K each. Don't know if they've hit the water yet. they may be having trouble getting motors from GM. The 6.2 LSA is the Camaro LS1 and Caddy CTS-V motor. I heard they can't keep them in the show room.

Thong baby you can get a hole lot of exotic motor and drive with $207K that would go a hole lot faster. I think the 41 with a pair of merc 1300hps and some 8 drives would work well for you.

One thing to think about is the maintenance of these big horsepower blower motors... I understand they need high dollar rebuilds after as little as 100 hours.
I'm not an expert and have no idea what the maintenance schedule is on the 7's. But it is definitely something worth considering.
I'm sure we're all a bit curious to see the 7's in a performance setup...

Not sure if it's even a consideration/possibility, but I always thought a 39 or 41 with some diesels and surface drives would be cool, an efficient hull, durable power/drives, long range ability etc. The 7's are definitely cool and would open up cockpit space and options.
