Default Old school 22

Just picked up an 85 Velocity 22 and am about to go to work on it. Has a 245hp 2.5, long eddie marine tabs, atlas jackplate, foot throttle and steering wheel controls for both jackplate and trim....nice setup. The boat is solid, it was Toms boat a few years back. Since then, the boat has been painted a navy ship grey (not to be seen by law type color) which I dont like. My idea is to grind it all down, and redo the paint. Looking for a paint scheme to sort of make it look like an old school 22 that they used to race in S class. Does anyone have any ideas or pics that could point me in the right direction...I like the idea of the racing number on the side and a few other race like decals/logos etc. Thanks in advance!!
