Just bought a 98 velocity 280 today. I've been lurking the velocity forum and glad I got the boat. Very excited and ready to start cleaning and building a new motor of the winter for next summer!! It has a 502 mag but I'm searching and talking with bob at marine kinetics to build a 600 n/a motor for next summer.
