Ahh .... Velocity Toms 390. I wonder how many Poker Runs this boat did between Tom and then John?

Steet is there much difference in the handling between the two. understanding that the 410 is a taller boat all around but how much is it when it comes to the handling

The 390 is faster, more sleek, but has less cabin overhead. It would be what suits you best. I like the taller cabin in the
410. But I also like the little extra speed of the 390. I would have a hard time choosing between the two

Thanks

That boat looks clean. Looks they were doing some work on one of the engines. I wonder if the engines are in good shape.

Wonder how many other 39' boats could claim that speed. That is awesome.

Good catch on the engine. Had a cracked heat exchanger from improper winterization I would guess. Had it rebuilt and engines run like a top. I bought boat without props and have a set of 4 blade Bravo 1 28 Pitch stock props I borrowed from a friend on it. I have not had a chance to play with trim, but have seen 70 on GPS at 4700. I read an old thread on here where the previous NC owner said he ran 78 with a set of 29P Hydros. Eighty sounds like a strong number with this mild power, but at only 8000#, I would not be surprised as it is a Velocity. This is my 4th Velocity and this boat does ride and drive extremely well. Boat is priced to sell and I would consider trades. For some reason, I am having trouble loading pics to the OSO listing, but you can see pics at my web site.
