Figured I'd start a new thread.

The wheels have been put into motion and I've been in contact with Great Oak Landing and they are willing to accomodate us once again for Velocity Fest.

Dates are June 27th-29th 2014. We will be bringing our boat up from Florida and plan on being in town that Friday (27th). Not sure if we'll run down Friday or first thing Saturday, but as time gets closer we'll nail down some more precise times. Maybe break it into a Friday run group and a Saturday run group.

If you've never been to Great Oaks, it's a great place to hang out, with a nice hillside pool & Tiki, along with Jellyfish Joels out on the point. Marina has full amenities, and they also have hotel rooms and even a 9 hole executive golf course.

Slip rates will be $1.50 per foot if you stay in the hotel, $2.25 if ya stay on board.
Standard Rooms are $149.00 per night (we may be able to get a little better once I get a better count)

What???? no cat. Yeah it's vfest but I say if your heart is with Velocity then bring your ride with what ever logo it has and all your stories. Sorry that's just my thought.

I am in for Saturday night at great oak 100%. Whether or not I need a slip is still up in the air. And Ray, I agree with Vicious, bring the Duck!

I agree! Just cuz it's V-fest doesn't mean other boats are not welcome.
