Does Steve and or Kenny have a opinion what is best for that particular boat? That is the advice I would go with. I have heard in a io boat there were advantages in boxes. But I'm not sure I believe it and have never witnessed it personally . I did know a guy years ago that had a bracket with 3 2.4's on it. It did haul the mail but I never saw it handle well in rough open water.

Velocity set up 2 staggered 41's with big power ( BFI & CGS ) I know of , both had extension boxes from the factory . When asked I was told it was to help with bow lift . On my 30' side by side it wasn't needed , she was stern heavy and would ride bow high needing a lot of tab at all times .

Anyone else had work done lately by the factory?
