Default New Velocity owner

Hello just want to introduce myself my name Is Mitch. Just got a 2001 280 with a 502 magnum. All super clean and stock except for new emi thunder headers. I think I have read every post in the velocity section. I am planning on supercharging the boat very soon so im sure I will have some questions very soon.

Welcome to the family!
The 280 is a great boat, I had one for 15 years.. Now I have a VR1.

Tabs are nice to have but I ran without any for all the years I had the boat. I would strongly suggested adding on hydraulic steering. It makes it safer and better handeling.

With a supercharger, upgraded steering is a must. I had the Imco steering put on mine and was happy with it. The Marina that did the install said it was a good easy install. If you need help, get in touch with Kenny at Let'sTalk Boats.
