Can you get to it by just pulling the drive only or do you have to remove the bell housing ? Answered my own question....yes, remove bell housing.

Drive is off...noticed the O ring that seals around the water inlet hose was pinched and ripped in half. Not a very good seal. Light corrosion, will have to clean up and work on getting the tool to try and remove bell housing so I can replace the water inlet hose.

Seapump is on...what a PIA!

My X DIMINSION is 3". Bottom of the boat is 3" below the center of the prop shaft.

Dam it's hot!

I was able to break the hinge pins loose and separate the bell housing.

Amarket.com has an awesome website that talks about this issue (bravoitis) and provides step by step instructions.

Here are the images from their web site.

Congrats on your VR! Yep, it's hard to beat. I also run my labbed 30p B1 as it has a better cruise speed vs the 28p. It's not as fast as the 28p especially when it really gets hot outside.

Ryan00TJ,
I have yet to send my prop to BBlades to modify to your specs/reference. I need some clarifications, was this reference applied to the supplied velocity Halls "labbed" prop that came with your VR! or was it applied to a "mercury" stock bravo1?
I have both, the Halls velocity labbed bravo 1 and a stock bravo 1. I was thinking of applying the BB6452 to both.
Thanks

Bblades used the above mentioned lab recipe on my original Velocity/Hall's labbed 28p Bravo one. Brett can answer whether or not to lab both. How different do they run now?

Awesome, Ryan00TJ, thank you!!!! Both the Halls and the stock bravo run to about the same top speed albeit at different rpms. The stock 28 gives a much better cruise/midrange. I think Ill just send my Halls prop to BBlades.
