Velocity get together
 

Anyone have any thoughts on a Velocity get together? I missed the 2015 one and don't think there was one last year.

Wow! A month and nothing but now two replies.☺
For us Northerners maybe we could get a bunch of Velocitys together at the Seneca Lake Battleship Run. It is located on Seneca Lake which is in Central NY. It's a good, reasonably priced and it would be fun to have a bunch of Velocitys running together.

I'm going anyway so, anyone else?

I could be talked into cumberland too. Thats not a terrible drive for me.

I could be in for Cumberland !! Good in between place and a lot of good safe running and marina's to stay at.

Cumberland has lots of rental properties available at far less then staying at any of the Marinas. I've rented many homes down there, last year a 3 bedroom fully equipped house for $90 per day in prime season. 2 mile drive to the ramp.

Ill be at loto for the shootout again this year. Would be cool to have a line of velocity's tied up to watch the races

Unlike LOTO - this one is in towing range for me. I've always wanted to attend the Battleship Run since the old Eye Rock Velocity days. The July 15 - 17 dates work out well this year. So I'm penciling it in and will check back with you in June.

Looks like at least three for Battleship run. Did you get a Velocity from Eyerock? My 280 came from them.

I would like to make Lotto but will not be able to attend this year.

Thanks for the info. I'm not sure if that weekend will work for me but would love to attend. My parents live in Cortland.

Hope to see you there. It really is a nice run with a variety of boats plus some impressive hardware.

Nope bought my 320 from Trenton Marine and 390 from Banyon Bay in Ft. Lauderdale. I recall that Eyerock and All Pro(?) where the main dealers in the North East 15 years ago and responsible for NY and MD being hot spots for Velocity registrations outside of Florida.

I first met Steve Stepp at the Battleship Run. I think it was 1999 and he was there with the Eyerock crew.

That's kind of you & I will keep you in mind as it gets closer...We've always wanted to attend the shootout.... maybe this is the year! It would be a nice tribute to Steve & Kenny to have a group of 8-10-12 or more of thier boats together...

How about Lake Lanier GA for a get together. Thats a nice lake

The last time at Lanier, a fellow in the 41 Velocity went to hospital,hit his head on bad wake. Haven't been back but a quick tow for me.

Just spoke with Kenny Hoh, he says that Velocity factory is gone!! End of an era. Same with the Pontiac GTO and the Delorean. I still have my Velocity, sold the others.

Did Kenny say what happened to the molds?
