Velocity company for sale
#12
Probably a bad move. I spoke with Steve yesterday, been probably 6 years. Always a gentleman and always willing to share his wealth of knowledge. He's reason I bought and continue to own a Velocity.

Good Afternoon Owners and Enthusiasts, I had the pleasure of speaking with Steve Stepp this morning. He expressed his philosophy on always putting his customers first and the pride he has in Velocity boats. He conveyed to me that he would be interested in working with the prospective new owner of the company and that he would be willing to discuss an arrangement that would be beneficial to both parties if the new owner would like to utilize his expertise. I also had the opportunity to speak with Kenny Hohwiesner at Lets Talk Boats. As most of you know he has been a source of parts and service for Velocity boat owners while the company has been in its transitional period. Kenny has also expressed interest in possibly working with new ownership or working out a deal that would benefit both parties. So the company is ready to be purchased, Steve is very open to meeting with new ownership, and Kenny is very interested in working with new ownership. What has transpired in the past couple of years is in the past at this point. My team will be focused on finding someone to take this company into the future. Please contact me if you or anyone you know may be interested in receiving more information on the sale of Velocity Boats. Best Regards, Eric Oley 727-776-4204

Never met Steve but just purchased a 290 SC from Kenny last month. Can't say enough about him and the knowledge that he brings. If I had the coin, I'd make the deal to keep Velocity moving forward. The boats and original cast/crew deserve that much.
