Thanks. Enjoyed reading about Kenny. He is one of the good guys. He sold me a boat, sold the old one for me and has always been there to answer a Velocity related questions.

Lookin good. Funny how great minds think alike. I've been working on the same thing. Installed a Wetsounds 400w 4ch amp and 2 JL Audio 7.7s and 2 6.5's. Kept the stock Sony 6.5's in the cuddy. Sound is amazing vs before!!!

Haha... nice Ryan! That probably sounds killer for sure!!! Did you put all 4 speakers under the rear seat? I ask because I'm thinking about two more by the driver/pass seats (on the other 2 channels) but not sure where to go with them.

I had Polk 6x9's in vented boxes under the back seat with a car amp prior but the speaker covers were mesh and getting beat up. I tried the new Polk's minus the vented speaker boxes and lost lots of punch. Thought the rear seat storage area might work as the box but no good... and they're no longer protected inside... no good again. The MB amp is 75w RMS x 4 and seems to be more then enough. Friends are always shocked when they hear all that coming from 6x9's and the 2 -6.5's in the cuddy. Put some pics in here of your setup... love see it!

My 290 came with a JL Audio 900w 5channel amp.. 10" subs in boxes under the rear seat (almost no storage left tho') has four JL 7.7's and four 6.5's (two in the cuddy)
The 6.5's are powered by the head unit.. Sounds pretty good but I'm thinking of adding some tweeters on the dash so I can hear it better while underway..
