Several years ago I knew of a 260 that had big power with an X power drive. It ran in the triple digits. Said he never did hold it wide open.
He was located in Northern California and he boats the west coast lakes. The whole boat is blue and green flames so it's easy to spot.
Anyone seen it lately. I believe the owners name was Joey.
You can see the boat at 2:39 on this video

[QUOTE=fatherb68;4516546]The guys name is Bob Powell. psi blowers on big ford motors. It is an on going project that I believe is almost done. It should be sick. I have his old 26 outboard boat that had v8s on it back in the day. I put on a pair of fresh 300x's. And I'm looking to sell her now as well.Excess energy, I thought he must have kicked the bucket.

The 41 w/Ford motors is together and running , expect him to come on here and give more details at some point . He has been busy with work and building a house . I saw the boat inside the garage at the new place . The CGS boat was said to run 130's back when it raced . I thought I heard Allen's staggered 41 is running 117
