Awesome! What was your WOT rpm? How did the hull handle at that speed? I believe you'll have more success with RH props. The VR1 hull was designed with it in mind......
22* deadrise, conventional lifting strakes with a 3" high notched transom. 1' wide pad. Pad is offset 6.5" to port of keel and 5.5" to starboard to offset the right hand turning prop.

Up to 50 mph, it lists port with a RH prop and Starboard with a LH prop.. Can't win LOL
Boat handed GREAT.. was pretty rough out.. I ran 10 miles or so over 80 MPH.. Was a BLAST

I HAVE to add a second steering cylinder. could feel some feedback in the wheel at times..

Went out Saturday with another prop to test... This one was a Cutting Edge 29 5 blade.. got on plane easy .. pulled good to 90 Mph then fell off... I was able to coax 95 mph out of it at 5450 Rpm with LOTS of trim... Seems a tad big.. hoping to try some 4 blades soon...

Tried a Cutting Edge 4 blade 30 pitch today..

Boat had a REALLY strange issue with this prop.. Over 75 MPH it would start to porpoise..
Dropping the trim tabs would NOT stop it, HAD to trim the snot outta it to get it to finally carry the bow...
Only issue with that, is the boat would go airborne when hitting bigger waves so can't run it like that ...
I DID manage to get 1 good run.. Datalog showed 5750 RPM
