Thanks my last velocity had the plush thick lay in carpet and it was awesome. Unfortunatley i havnt been able to find it online. Closest i have found is corinthian'aqua mat which looks nice but isnt as plush
the coin flooring has yellowed and isnt very comfortable on my feet. Right now i have nothing to use as a pattern so will be starting from scratch. I want something i can take in and out easily.

you add the snaps to the floor -- I install this flooring all the time. very simple. All wakeboard boats use this for years now plus all family rec boats have gone this route for flooring. CC boats for the past 2 years has gone this same route.
The marine mat you can order in what ever thickness - it super lite - like a feather. Hence not adding weight to your boat. Also the thicker you go - it will provide some shock absorbing in rough water.
Many carpets are very heavy and absorb water.

As Padraig said - as long as your's is stock and they have the template for your year! This is because the 280 bolster footprints changed over the years and I found that my 280 bolsters were installed asymmetric - both left to right and front and back which I assume per the original owner's spec. I took the time to measure twice and make a custom template for Corinthian Carpet to use. Much better fit than the original!
