I currently own two AmeriTrails and have been through all the wheels a few times. I've used standard bearings and seals from www.easternmarine.com
Also AmeriTrail sells these parts from their website and can tell you exactly what you need from your VIN number. |
Bearing, Race and Seal Information
I used the above parts to rebuild my 06 Ameratrail 3500lb axles. Parts were also from etrailer. I used this kit........ https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Brakes/Kodiak/K2HR35D.html |

Did you call Ameratrail yet? Their parts prices are about the best I've found. Plus, you'll know you will be getting the right stuff.

Sometimes its works out cheaper and or the same amount just buying the complete hub. I buy from Tie Down and gave up doing customers wheel bearings, grease seals cotter pins and so on years ago. The hubs less time - less mess - ready to put on as a complete hub and they come packed with grease also alot less tools needed to complete the job. Plus its all brand new with a warranty and even comes with new nuts. Cost 40 to 90 dollars per hub depending on which one.

2 example of the many. Alot trailer hubs today are Vortex style and they are more expensive than standard hub kits. These prices are retail as well and I am sure on the retail side --- one can find even cheaper.

The kit I used was to replace existing disc or upgrade from drum brakes. If you have no brakes installed on the second axle I don't believe it's cortect for that application.
