Bearing & Seals- AMERITRAIL TRAILER

Anybody have part numbers & source to share for bearings/races/seals used on an AmeriTrail Tandem Axle Trailer, 4 wheel Disc Brakes, under a 2003 Velocity 260.
Thank you.

Mine has Dexter 3500lb axles but I have drum brakes...

I ordered replacement loaded drums and complete backing plates from Etrailer

Cannot say for sure with Ameritrail but so far all other trailers I've messed with are standard sizes. Here is a link to show where to measure

And here are the standard sizes

All the above is good unless you have early 2000's era UFP hubs. If your trailer doesn't, no use to read further. My 2000 Extreme trailer has 3500# axles and has UFP hubs. My hubs take a smaller O,D. inner bearing race (68110 instead of 68111). I use 1.687 ID double lip seals (#168233) for marine hubs for a little better seal, instead of the 1.719 ID seal. They do make it for the larger standard hubs as well (#168255). Most of the time I just go to a reputable trailer place and get the bearings and seals. They are priced probably the same or less than places you have to order from, plus you get them immediately without the wait for shipping.

The above is what you need. It is also called a #84 hub kit.

Thanks guy's, sounds like I'll pull a wheel & hub and measure just to be sure. Was going to order parts and have them ready to replace when the weather breaks, but I think I'll play it safe and not chance ordering the wrong stuff.

Thanks again, greatly appreciate it.
Gary

I currently own two AmeriTrails and have been through all the wheels a few times. I've used standard bearings and seals from www.easternmarine.com
Also AmeriTrail sells these parts from their website and can tell you exactly what you need from your VIN number.
