Default The Classic 22 is almost complete.

The Classic 1985 Stepp Velocity 22 that has undergone a total restoration over this past winter. The only thing that isn't new or rebuilt are the hull and the deck original fiberglass. No expense was spared to bring this beauty back to better than new condition. It is powered by a BES 470HP 385 inch Stroker SBC. The Alpha one drive was replaced with a Gen 4 Bravo One. The boat is Fast... So far the boat has seen 75MPH with much more left in it. Still working on getting the drive shaft depth and prop figured out. The boat wants to chine walk fairly serious at 75 plus MPH.

Looks amazing!! 4 blade Hydro QIV cured my chinewalk. Smooth and stable at 80. Your 22 has a slightly wider pad than my 21 Challenger did.

I think the largest part of my issue was the hydraulic steering not being fully bled out. I’m waiting for the weather to break so I can find out for sure. I do plan on going to a Hydro prop though.
