WANTED:: Velocity Racers in the NE
..to join me & VinMan with our 32'....we're running with the Jersey Boyz this summer...hope to see more of the Stepp-Faithful on the race course with us...

SOrry guys but no class for my boat ..............damn those two stroke V hulls!
I 'll be with you in spirit and when I can with my boat. WHat class are you guys running? If you guys do any of the Barnegat stuff ( that is, assuming the speed limit is over 30mph) I will try to be there! You guys gonna run the shootout in bayville.......again assuming?

what are you running?? All of our races will be P-class, speed bracket racing...
Most of the races are Offshore, so far!
5/31-6/1 - Brick, NJ - off of Point Pleasant
6/21-22 - Seaside, NJ - start at Point & run to Seaside (Big Fun!)
7/19-20 - Atlantic City, NJ
8/14-15 - Point Pleasant (the Grandaddy!)
9/6-7 - Jersey City - SBI Nat'l Race
9/20-21 - TBD

They'll get you in a class!!

I am running a 26 Thoroughbred, with twin 4 liter V8 Outboards with 300+ hp each. I have not seen any outboard V hulls in the P class for some time and when they used to race them they could be no bigger than 2.5 liter Mercs. My buddy has a new Kryptonite with twin 2.5s and we have talked about trying to get a twin O/B V hull class together. We will see, I just started a new business and may not even get the time this summer. Keep me posted!

Hey Bodyshot, I grew up watching the Benihana races off Point. Offshore racing is the only dream I have not made a reality. I have a 28 velocity now. Thought about the lease program they have with those bat boats to get my feet wet. Have a better suggestion?

enter your 28 as a P-class & try
that or see if you can run with someone first to be sure you like racing...
the Bat Boat Lease is a can't lose if you want to run w/o the headaches of owning...
