Default Speed Question??

I have a 1995 velocity 220. I currently run a 454/330 @ 70 mph on radar. It is completely stock except for a 26pitch bravo lab finished from scott at velocity. I am building an approx. 450hp motor. Any ideas on what type of speeds I could see with 450hp in this boat? I am hoping for mid 70's or better.

Cool

22 footer with a 450 hp BB power should run around 95 MPH with the proper drive height. I have seen 500 HP small blocks break 100 MPH.

We boat on Pine Lake and we head out to Lake Michigan whenever the wind is blowing from the right direction. I boat mostly with wette vette and a few others from the area. We have several nice boats running on the lake. Several bajas, checkmates, eliminators, obsession, etc. Pine Lake is a pretty fun lake except the weekends can get pretty crowded.
Where do you do most of your boating?

My motor will done in the next few weeks and hope to have the boat in the water the last weekend of May. I will be very happy if I hit 80mph. I will be at 450+ hp, so from what it sounds I should be running 80+.

I installed a 454 cubic inch 464 HP (dyno horsepower, not prop horsepower) in my 1996 22 footer. With a 26" Bravo four blade prop I run 79.6 MPH on GPS with the tabs level.
