Velocity 290 SC
I climbed around a new 290 SC at the local boat show tonight. Very nicely done. The rigging looked sharp. There was a ton of room in the engine compartment. My wife was impressed by the head, fridge, and TV!
I was wondering If anyone had any real world experience with this boat. Cruising and top end numbers with a 496 Ho or HP 500 would be appreciated.
Also what's a realistic price with the HP 500. They wanted $125K. Even with 20-25% off that's some serious cash for a single engine boat.

Already bought a new boat. I'm not allowed another per the Admiral for some time Really like the VR-1's and 290 SC. One of the guys at my marina just bought a VR-1. Nice looking ride.
