Second time Velocity owner. This time it's a 260 with 7.4MPI. Runs nice but like everyone would like more. Is it there anything worth doing to this motor or best to replace with a MAG HO ?

I had good luck ProCharging the 7.4MPI's in my previous boat - 320. You'll be at about 500HP at the crank. I have one kit left in case your interested.

I have the same boat runs good but I hear you just needs a little more power. I put one of the labbed bravos props from the factory that helped a little.

Thanks for the help. Would pro charging change reliability?
What Bravo Prop was used I'm turning a hydromotive 4 blade 24 right now. (stock I assume)

Call the factory they can get one of their labbed bravo's they use on their race boats. Gives you better hole shot and will not slip on you on turns or acceleartion. My hydro slipped alot just as the boat planned then some times in turning over waves.

With regard to Procharger and reliability - over the short term (3 seasons) I didn't have any reliability issues. Over the long term, it's logical that the blower motor will wear out faster but of course it depends on how it's used.
