Re: Needs to Go
The only reason the Killer Bee boat was not up front from fairlee to the Inn was because he stayed back to make sure a freind was OK, that took about 15 min. You all know the boat is Bad so MAN UP!!

What Attitude!! Link is stating a fact...we stayed behind to help another Rally participant. I am not a Velocity owner and I had a great time. Great people and sweet machines. Steve Stepp once again a great asset to the Hi performance boating world.
Did I spell anything wrong?

Re: Needs to Go
Lets not take this so personal. I never said Bob didn't have a bad boat, & as a matter of fact I am fond of the V8's and the killer bee sound, I owned a 22 velocity with on on the back for 7 years.
We don't need to make excuses of why we were or weren't up front, we all had a good time and beside it was a FUN run not a race. All I said is I didn't see or hear them go by me.
The one 280 that ran up front all day and was the one you referred to as being the first to Hart & Miller (and you were correct that wasn't me) had a stock 496, It only goes to show given the water conditions we were dealing with a 280 can only run so fast, and that one did run well.
I was just trying to stir the pot and it looks like I was successful!
I noticed Bob never chimed in, He knows what he's got and it speaks for itself.
R Addiction,
I was in a 1995 260 or 280 whatever you want to call it with Purple & pink stripes. One of the few with FOR SALE on the side.
Looking forward to next years run.
