rippem, i was wondering about the 26' 1993 that you posted. i thank that was my old boat that i traded in to steve in 1999 for a 390,i was wondering were it went ? that boat ran 103 with a 540 in 1997. it was good seeing it again.

No, I bought that boat new from Mark in late summer of '93.
If I was going to do another one, I'd go the hardcore look like the one I had. No w/s, no "pods", white p/c tubular platform, old school paint ect. with BIG power. That boat, as you can see, would sit right on it's tail and fly with 600+ blown HP and sweet spot trim, even on glassy water.
That boat was alot of fun. Alot's been learned about blowers since then...I did have my share of downtime.
That boat (my trade) was sold to a guy over on Lake George I believe, with a 540 carb, before my ordered 32 came in. I was in a Sea Ray 23 BR Select "loaner"
for 6-8 weeks.

buddy of mine's '95 22' with strong SB. Boat ran close to 80 and we suprised alot of bigger boats in the rough with that thing. Trim on wheel and foot throttle...battle gear.

32' with 540 "bulldogs". Ran in that boat many times. Almost lost it the first time I got it "hung" @ WOT killing both rich and I.
Nicknamed "The Kavorkian" cause that boat had a serious "learning curve". 
It was an S-glass boat with a higher "X". There were experienced Velocity owners/drivers who wouldn't touch that thing.
That boat was all about torque...
