The VENDOR TALK forum rules -- READ BEFORE POSTING HERE PLEASE
Welcome to the OSO Vendor Talk forum. If you have something to say about a company or vendor you have done business with (not necessarily through OSO), post it here. Comments about vendors posted elsewhere will be moved here by the moderators, or deleted.
This will include any kudos, "attaboys," etc., as well as "beware of company xyz," warnings about bad dealings, etc.
NOTE: If you are alleging specific bad behavior by a company to you, include something that backs up your story -- a receipt with personal info blacked out, a contract, check stubs, etc. The OSO community members will decide for themselves what constitutes "proof" of a bad deal, and rest assured if you are coming here just to try to stain the reputation of a company, you'll be called out.
DO NOT POST PERSONAL INFORMATION about other individuals. This is not a "torches and pitchforks" forum, it is solely to let other members know about companies you have dealt with and your experiences. Personal information posted will be deleted and the moderators will suspend your OSO account. NO DOXXING.
As with all of OSO, keep it professional and polite. No flaming, no personal attacks, no profanity. Keep it classy, and make this a useful place for your fellow boaters to find out which companies they should be dealing with.
TO OUR OSO VENDORS AND ADVERTISERS: The new policy for how these threads are handled applies to *all* companies, regardless of whether they are banner advertisers, Classifieds sellers, Forum Sponsors, or any other form of advertiser or sponsor of OSO, or companies that do not advertise or support this site at all. If you have questions, please refer them to your Sales rep. Note also that such threads -- good or bad -- can have a long shelf life on the Internet; our experience is that the best way to handle them is to reply to them and try to work out any issues with the person who posted it. Obviously companies and their reps can choose to handle these things in whatever way they choose, including ignoring them. Also please note that if we have reason to believe that an "attaboy" thread has been posted as quid-pro-quo "payment" to a company the user has dealt with, such a thread will be deleted at our sole discretion, and both parties disciplined; payments or kickbacks in the form of good OSO reviews are explicitly forbidden, and you can lose your account for it.
