Everyone is having delays in getting some pistons. Guy here waited 6 months for 509 pistons. Lost a whole Summer of boating.

Aluminum and magnesium are hard to get right now. The company I work for is having product delays because of the shortage.

knock on wood, I’ve been able to get pistons from Wiseco, JE, Diamond, and CP all in 4-6 weeks. Maybe 8 if they are anodized or have some goofy ring. End of last year some rings were an issue but everyone got through that

Default Tyler Crockett Marine Engines

Tyler Crockett Marine Engines is a place I would not recommend. We had dropped our boat off in mid September 2024, he told us we would have our boat back by March 2025, however this did not happen. As of March 2025 he hadn’t even started them. We were told after March that they would have it done by April, it continued this way until we decided to take our motors from Crockett in June. Throughout this time (September to March) we had little to no communication from Tyler. Tyler purchased the most expensive exhaust with out even speaking to us and it was the wrong exhaust and had to be modified to work on our motors. He threw away numerous motor parts, that did not need to be thrown away (ex: exhaust manifolds, cams, oil pans). When we picked our motors up they were in pieces, all the bolts were mixed in one box. It took numerous trips and phone calls to get what parts we could from him. Tyler cost us thousands of dollars of additional and unnecessary expenses to fix the mess he created. Tyler Crockett Marine Engines was a horrible decision, I hope that other people do not make the same mistake and have to go through a similar circumstance.

He`s too dumb to build his own engines .. yeah no $hit moron that`s why he took it to an engine builder. Engine builders exist because most people are 'too dumb' to build their own engines. You seem to be a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

I'm a few sandwiches short because I'm fat and like food.
