Default Anyone dealt with Eddie Marine lately?

I placed an order back in July. It was acknowledged, but still shows as Processing on their website.

No responses to emails asking for an ETA.

I know everyone is crazy busy in this overheated economy, but it this what to expect from Eddie Marine, or should I start working the phone?

They are slow even in the best of times. I try to shop elsewhere if possible.

I placed an order almost 2 years ago, Not delivered. It was just a ski tow. They used to be great. Not now.

Two months is pretty good, then.

What on earth could be going on over at Eddie Marine?

Probably have enough money and don't care anymore.

I had a huge issue with them ordering a new Trim Indicator. Order held up forever, called many times "yup, parts to build it are in stock, will ship this week." Got that same excuse calling every week for about 3 months after waiting the first 6 months patiently because wasn't using the boat. When I ordered it, dimensions on their website matched Gaffrig unit I was replacing, unit received was much narrower, they must have re-designed or sent me wrong one. Indicator pins didn't fit into supplied cable end blocks, cables didn't even fit into slots for them, ended up being a huge PITA, but certainly wasn't sending it back and waiting another 9 months!!! I made it work in the end, just took far more hours than it should have.

I guess that's what you get for a $350 indicator that CP performance sells for $1,500? Or does the $1,500 fit just as bad? Who knows.

Summit Racing has been selling Eddie Marine products. I have bought many parts that they have in stock surprisingly.
