Jayhawk, are you running a shorty? What's your X? Just curious.

My drive is a stock length Bravo 1. I haven't measured the X, but I have compared drive depth with DaveM here on the board with us both measuring from the bottom of the gimbal housing to the keel. I am about 1/4" shallower than Dave.

As it stands, I think I am going to have to try spacers and shorties with an assortment of props to see what gives me the best result. Right now I have a best of 76 with a 501hp engine in a 24 step bottom Super. I think I am at least 4mph slow.

I'm hoping the spacer will help with getting the bow up some. When I am running wot, it feels like the bow is pointing down. I don't feel any bow lift.
