Iv got plenty of bare 454 blocks. If the block cracked from freezing than the internals are more than likely still good. You can send me your short block and I can transfer the internals into the new block with new rings and bearings or I can put a new rotating assembly in this block. I will sell the block for $600. The block and installing you internals for $1200 or the block and a new rotaing assembly (Cast crank, forged rods, Hypereutectic pistons) balanced and assembled for $2300. Give me a call Jeff @ J&J Marine 856-228-4744 jjmarineperformance.com

He's pulling the rest of the motor down this weekend......pretty sure he only needs a bare block since his father has built race motors and will assemble whatever he buys. He's hoping the internals will be fine to re-use. 2004 typical Merc 5.0, don't know if it's 1 or 2 piece main seal.
Prices for just a block???
Thanks,
