BTW, The intakes were sent to Wilson for installation of steam bungs at the rear of the intake. They are still in the box's.

These intakes will work on your short deck w/shims. Your distributor shaft may be short, unless it is adjustable. These intakes will probably flow much better than a short deck intake. Some tuners prefer to use a tall deck manifold w/shims on a short deck. Hatch clearance would be the only concern.

This is corrected: The shims are used when using a short deck manifold on a tall deck block. Tall Deck manifold to a short deck block will probably require machining bottom flange for angle change. Benifits stated, should remain.
