The gimbal ring is outside of the helmet. Then the gimbal housing assembly holds the gimbal ring. If you meant the unit that mounts to the outside of the transom, then that is called the Gimbal Housing Assembly. See item #1 on the link.

Call me about the bell housing you need. Do you need an HP one with solid pins and no threads or stock Magnum with threads??
