At the risk of sounding uninformed, I know they make a 2" shorty (I have one) but they MAKE a 3" shorty?

Yes they make a neutral 1" 2" and 3" shortie. You have to modify the upper for prop clearance if you go with the 3". I think that might be the reason I'm not having luck finding one?
