I am looking for a Mechanical shift conversion kit for a Merc electric shift. The electric shift works great on my trans but I am tryin to update the controls.

I converted my old 20' Cig from electric to cable. It's very simple, I used a piece or aluminum angle which we installed on the trans and mounted a Morse cable hold down. I have some hold downs if you need one.

I'll look for a pic, I'm not sure, but it is amazingly simple, about a 5" piece of aluminum or steel 2" angle. I do have the Morse hold downs, I found them.

This is how I did it,, alum angle bolted to the trans for the cable to mount to the Morse clamp. Then make a alum flat triangle to mount to the valve body like in the pic. Then mount the ball stud to the triangle to hook up the Morse cable .
