That's a 177/174 blower setup and worth less than $1500. He is way over priced.

imo, go with a bigger blower, more power, less heat and if you are not running the heck out of the boat to get into the boost them you will also do a little better on fuel. something to think about. some of the older blowers are getting harder to find parts for as well.

I've seen used 250 setups with carbs sell from 1500-2500 in the last two months. I look at it like this, a 6-71 new is $2800 plus carbs and flame arrestors so when it's all said and done I'll be in it for at least ~$4000. My goal is to spend half that.
