gen 5 will accept the factory roller cam and front plate even gen 4 will ...just use retro fit lifters .you can even use a 6 cover on a 5 by drilling and tapping a few holes ..did it on a boat to make motors match when i had a 5 -6 block

It's not rocket science it's pretty simple change over Gordon gas done it for me and I have after he showed me
