Buy a case of gimbal bearings if you are going to run them. :D

They work on some boats.

Was more popular for the small boat small block crowd.

have many cases of gimbal bearings buy them cheap and stacking them deep. I only need the stern jack to test a certain boat then its coming back off. Winter crap to play with.

Does anyone else remember the Land & Sea variable pitch propellers? :)

I had both the stern jack and the variable pitch prop.:party-smiley-004:

Had one at one time and Merc had theirs plus I still have the one called Power Pitch by another manufacturer or something like that. Shifting props as many called them. The one have is in storage collecting dust.

A small lightweight hydraulic snowmobile clutch has been prototyped and is in testing.

Before we leave this earth maybe we'll see a prop that can do this.

But, how would you do change diamter, cup, blade shape, and such.

Oh well, Until then, springs, levers, grooves, just ain't gonna happen for a good prop.

They definitely weren't for high performance boats but probably worked great for the family runabout.

Thx I did see this these. I know what they sold for when new thru Land & Sea so IMO I think the seller is asking to much for a used set. I will check with L&S and see if they can direct me. Also found one almost still brand new at a prop shop totally complete as a display model for 750 bucks. The only thing missing was the box. Already bought that one.

$750 is a steal. You won't find a new one under $1500 .

I've had one on a 900hp engine for 12 years. The only problem I had was the shift cables. I figured out how to modify the stock cables and have been good since then. The u joints and bearing can be bought after market.
