here is a pair on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercury-5-Sp...50a625&vxp=mtr

If you find a set , make sure they have the newer style transom gimble assembly. The earlier ones were from #3 and #4's the gimbel is not as strong as the new style(3a and 5). The ones listed in the ebay ad are the newer style. not saying the older ones are bad , but when your pricing parts the new style is worth more.

I do not know the person selling the drives .

I have everything, minus the transmissions, that you need/want. I was just about to place an ad on OSO. The #5's, 1.5:1 ratio, have just been completely gone thru by Craig Colabella with zero hours since. New propshafts, new lower gear sets. The upper gears were new 5 hours ago so weren't replaced. Full of fluid, pressure checked and ready to run. #5 gimbals the newest style, they are not #3 gimbals, Mercury box's, complete steering and all the thru-hulls. All the nuts, bolts etc. are included. I will even include 2 complete new decal sets for them should you want to change the color of the drives. $22,500 for everything. Give me a call and lets talk. Check the classifieds today, I'm going to post an ad with pictures.

FYI the Ron Sporal #5s are not the best for a cat... the skeg has had too much removed from the bottom for a high X dimension application (cat)

I never said they were a great deal... I just know that if Gary had them done there was no expense spared... his **** is new or just as good as... Craig Colabella doesn't skimp when doing a drive
