Finally going forward on my engine upgrade on my 272. Got a pair of stout 383's and giving very serious consideration to performing the Alpha to Bravo conversion. I just know Alpha's aren't going to live long behind the new engines. Whatever I buy must be matching sets.....Either a full package or transom assemblies and drives separately......prefer 97+ Bravos. Looking only for low hour & very clean units. This is a budget stretcher for my 86 Formula....Anybody looking to make a deal on this stuff?

I have 2 Bravos that are used and in great condition with 2 Gimbals that are in great shape also! They are approximately 2000's or slightly newer. Both drives, with Gimbals and transom plates can be bought for $7600. You should be able to use your old trim pumps. No corrosion and paint is clean. These are ready to bolt on and go! Sounds good....however, your price is a little outside of my reach. Really appreciate the reply... While I might need to get a little lucky to get the kind of pricing I need for this project...I've seen lots of clean transom assemblies go anywhere from 800-1200 each. Drives 1200+ each. $1500 seems to be the magic number for "nice bravos" from what I can tell.

No Problem, these drives and gimbals are in much better shape than any of the ones I have seen sell in those prices. They have NO Corrosion and paint is excellent! I won't take less than $2000 for each drive and $1600 for each gimbal.
Good Luck! Hope you find what you need!
