Can anybody explain why someone would have already removed their M-8's? Did they go to Arnesons? Just doesn't seem like they have been out long enough to have a used set for sale.

I could be wrong but I think there were two main reasons for removal when the M8's first came out. They were: limited gear ratios available, and poor hydrodynamics, both of which resulted in the M8 having poor performance numbers compared to a #6.
