Does the transom have to be redone? Wonder how much speed you will gain? Dont you have some big hp motors?

Yes the transom has to be glassed. They supposedly made 650 before the last cam change. It was supposed to run 90 all day an ive yet to see that. I emailed pepe a few weeks ago and he said i should see a 7-10 mph increase. Kinda anxious to see what it's going to do. If the motors are making the power i was told i should see a big gain.

How fast was it? Who is doing your transom? If you dont mind what is the charge? I have considered doing my transom. Is your whole transom getting replaced?

I saw a consistent 81-83 and 85 and 86 once in a great while. I have a friend that does fiberglass work on the side. Im not replacing the whole transom just the area around the trs cut outs. I cut the all the wood out around the holes and got it ready for him. He told me between $500-$700 if i helped him.
