I think might be a tad small I'm running 750 a side what rpm were you turning straight orstepped I'm guessing strait ..

Came off of a straight bottom 38. Not my boat I bought them for another boat and they are just to tall. Previous owner said 78 mph @ 5200 with 600+HP a side. There more like 27p in my opinion.
